To equally serve the three disability sport structures (II; Deaf & Physically Disabled, including Visual Impaired) at school level (juniors) and club level (seniors).
To seek membership with the Provincial Sport Confederation, District Sport Councils, Provincial Disability Sport Structures, District Disability Sport Structures and other Disability Sport bodies.
To coordinate; monitor and evaluate all disability sport programmes/projects within the province.
To serve as the Umbrella Mother Sport Body for Persons with Disabilities within the province.
To promote sports for athletes and persons with a disability in the province without discrimination whatsoever based on race; sexism; racialism; language and any disability backgrounds .
To promote the inclusion of athletes and persons with a disability into non-disability sport while safeguarding and preserving their own identity.
To work towards the effective and efficient strengthening of DISWEC through good governance and sound management.
To co-operate with and adhere to the directives of the Provincial Government Department of Cultural Affaires and Sport and Western Cape Provincial Sport Confederation.
